We just took in a fabulous Boarder Collie mix. Teddy is a neutered 5 year old very easy going guy that is looking for a single active older lady or a younger very active gal. Teddy loves walks in the park, enjoyable hikes in the mountains with a picnic in some field of flowers, a warm fire during the winter snuggled up to his human watching “the notebook” with a big bowl of popcorn (but not to much because he has a sensitive stomach).
Teddy knows sit, stay, down, is kennel trained, House trained, Good on a leash and once he knows his human will stick with you off leash, good for those weekend road trips, good with other dogs and cats. Teddy would rather be with a woman over a man (I believe he is still traumatized over the last man that made him watch nascar and football all weekend instead of the hallmark channel.) Teddy had not really been around chickens or ducks unless you count it in his food dish. Teddy is amazing at being groomed but is a bit ticklish when it comes to his front feet but heck so am I.
